Abstract
La présente invention concerne un robot modulaire (10) comprenant une pluralité d'unités modulaires (20, 30, 40, 50, 60) définissant chacune une partie de corps de robot, lesdites unités modulaires étant empilables pour former un empilement définissant ledit robot, au moins certaines desdites unités modulaires étant configurées pour être interchangeables entre elles dans ledit empilement, lesdites au moins certaines unités modulaires interchangeables (30, 40) comprenant des éléments de couplage mécanique identiques pour établir un couplage amovible avec au moins une unité modulaire immédiatement adjacente dans l'empilement, chaque unité modulaire comprenant un moyen d'interconnexion au moins électrique avec une unité modulaire immédiatement adjacente dans l'empilement de sorte que l'empilement desdites unités modulaires ainsi interconnectées définit une continuité au moins de liaison électrique pour alimenter en énergie les différents modules dudit robot.The present invention relates to a modular robot (10) comprising a plurality of modular units (20, 30, 40, 50, 60) each defining a robot body part, said modular units being stackable to form a stack defining said robot, at least some of said modular units being configured to be interchangeable with each other in said stack, said at least some interchangeable modular units (30, 40) comprising identical mechanical coupling elements for establishing removable coupling with at least one immediately adjacent modular unit in the stack, each modular unit comprising at least electrical interconnection means with an immediately adjacent modular unit in the stack so that the stack of said modular units thus interconnected defines at least one continuity of electrical connection to supply energy to the different modules of said robot.
