Abstract

Un dispositif lumineux, notamment d'éclairage et/ou de signalisation pour véhicule automobile, comprend au moins une source de lumière (l) à semi-conducteur, comprenant une pluralité d'éléments électroluminescents (8) de dimensions submillimétriques définissant une surface d'émission (34) déterminée, et une optique de mise en forme configurée pour imager la source de lumière à l'extérieur du véhicule. La source de lumière est agencée de sorte que la surface d'émission (34) présente, dans un plan perpendiculaire à la direction d'extension des éléments électroluminescents, une forme sensiblement rectangulaire avec un ratio entre longueur (L) et largeur (lg) au moins supérieur à 10.
