Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de contrôle d'un dispositif de vapotage comprenant notamment une source de courant électrique, un réservoir pour un liquide à vaporiser, un atomiseur pour vaporiser le liquide en vue de générer un aérosol, un capteur d'aspiration et une unité de contrôle, le réservoir et l'atomiseur pouvant être combinés en un composant unique. Le procédé de l'invention se caractérise par les étapes suivantes : (a) activation du dispositif de vapotage, (b) test pour détecter la présence de l'aspiration d'une bouffée, et passage à l'étape (c) dès que l'aspiration d'une bouffée est détectée, (c) surveillance d'un premier évènement de contrôle durant chaque bouffée, et retour à l'étape (b) si le premier évènement de contrôle ne s'est pas produit, ou continuation à l'étape (d) si le premier évènement de contrôle s'est produit, (d) mise en veille du dispositif de vapotage dès que le premier évènement de contrôle s'est produit, un aérosol pouvant être généré en cas d'aspiration lorsque le dispositif est activé, mais pas lorsqu'il est en veille.
