Abstract

The device has a connection module, and a data processing unit (6) connected to a measurement unit i.e. current sensor (8). The connection module comprises a connector (2) and high voltage electric cables (4, 5). The connector has a connection unit to a circuit of a battery of a vehicle. The measurement unit is connected to the cables. The connector and another connector (3) are connected to each other by the electric cables. The cables are joined in the latter connector to form an electric circuit with the battery of the vehicle. The cable is accessible from outer side of the connectors. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for assembling a battery's residual capacity measurement device (2) a method for measuring a residual capacity of a battery of car.
