Pour éviter ces inconvénients, on connaît du document US-4 756 098 un article chaussant comprenant une tige montée sur une face supérieure d'une semelle et destinée à recevoir le pied d'un utilisateur, ainsi qu'un système de maintien du pied dans ladite tige, ledit système comprenant un ensemble souple de serrage qui comprend des sangles souples et inextensibles disposées par paires de part et d'autre de la partie extérieure de la tige correspondant au médio pied, chaque sangle étant fixée en partie inférieure à la semelle et comprenant en partie supérieure une ouverture dans laquelle coulisse un lacet de serrage.
