Abstract

The assembly has a pivot (100) comprising a ball bearing (105) that supports a hub. A disc brake is provided with a brake disc that is supported by the hub. A brake caliper maintains two brake pads on both sides of the disc brake. A plane contains a set of support faces of the brake pads. A non-zero angle is formed with respect to the plane that is normal to a rolling axis. The non-zero angle is predetermined to ensure parallelism of the plane and/or a stirrup plane when a motor vehicle is placed on the ground.
