Abstract

The device has an upper fixture (10) extending from an upper end of a planar flap (9) and parallel to a plate (11) of a base (8), where the base includes an omega section. The fixture is extended on both sides of the planar flap to form two overlap extensions, where each of the extensions is opposite to one of two support surfaces formed on the fixture. The fixture, the flap and the plate define two housings (19, 20) that receive an upper edge and a lower edge (4a2) of two juxtaposed solar panels (4). An independent claim is also included for a solar power unit for use on a slope support structure.
