Abstract

The panty liner is designed to be deodorant, anti-irritant and hypoallergenic by being made from natural fibres such as cotton, impregnated with a compound made from lavender flowers and/or wild tulip petals, e.g. 55 per cent of powdered lavender flowers and 45 per cent olive oil, or 65 per cent ground wild tulip petals and 35 per cent distilled rose water. The dried lavender flowers without stems are ground and sifted to produce a fine powder which is added to extra virgin olive oil and heated to a moderate temperature before leaving to stand for 24 hours and filtering.
