Description

A set of wheels allows displacement by traction on a flat ground of the bag. Up to now, trolley-type devices have been known to housewives to transport purchased provisions. Rolling trolleys have been transformed into used devices - to carry from one point to another a suitcase of sufficient size to hold the commonly used kits. Improvements have been made to these devices, including the adaptation of a contiguous seat allowing the user to have the opportunity to sit on the seat attached to the bag. This device was patented at the INPI under the number 2834431 filed on 08/01/02. Other similar devices have been developed and patented at the INPI under the name of seat suitcase. This hand-drawn wheeled suitcase is designed so that one side has wheels to move the suitcase, and the other is a seat that rests on four legs. These devices are easily movable on flat ground, but have disadvantages when the bag must overcome obstacles consisting in particular of steps. The present invention overcomes this disadvantage by providing a device for moving the bag on two wheels hand-drawn and having the profile of a sledge: one of the vertical faces of the bag is provided with a sliding blade for manual traction to slide the said suitcase on the edges of the steps. The invention called "all-terrain suitcase" is characterized in that it comprises a bag (1) integral with a metal and / or plastic frame provided with two rigid rods (14) retractable, each bearing a ball joint (2); ù D 1a the ball joints are extended by a strap (15) terminated by a handle (10); the strap and the ball joint are connected by means of a carabiner hook. The strap (15) can be completed by means of a light strap (4) of fabric or leather, length S sufficient to allow the user to pull the bag as a harness from his shoulder. The device carrying the rigid bag has on one side two rollers (9) for moving on flat ground; a face (12) of the device of the bag is provided with a rigid armature furnished with two blades (16) whose end is of rounded shape, allowing the assembly to slide. A latch (17) folds stops the device in the event that the traction would cease its effects; this latch (17) is manipulable by means of a rope (18) connecting the latch (17) to the handle (10). In one version of the invention, the bag receives a seat (19) which is secured to the side of the bag (1). The invention thus presented will be better understood thanks to the appended drawings which are only presented for a purpose

Referring to Figure 1 of Plate 1/2 we find the device seen from three quarters. 45 -1 The off-road suitcase is made mobile by means of two wheels (9) for the flat lands, and parallel blades (16) fixed on one face (12); the top of the off-road suitcase is towed by means of a strap (15) joined to said bag (1) by means of two ball joints (2) lockable, and moved by a handle (10) joined to a ring. The ball joints (2) can be extended by two rigid rods (3) and (14) to the handle (10), in order to obtain a more effective traction. The suitcase so equipped is moved on flat ground and tilts, using wheels. The bag itself is of the rigid type, or semi rigid, can be made of leather or decarbon fiber, or stiffened fabric; it can also be made of flexible fabric covering a semi rigid armarture. In a preferred version, the bag is equipped with an articulated seat (19) which allows the user to be able to park in a public place without dissociating himself from his luggage.

The off-road suitcase is towed by means of the handle (10) joining the parts of the strap (15) to the handle (10). The ball itself is provided with a male element (7) rotating in a spherical cavity (6) thus constituting a pivotable axis.La ball (2) can be made of antifriction metal or plastic.La rod (14) integral with the ball (2) is retractable and can penetrate inside the bag when the latter is at rest. The connection between the ball (2) and the strap (10) is obtained by means of a hook eyecup. Is shown in Figure 3 of the board 1/2 the all terrain suitcase seen from the front; it is constituted by means of rigid material or stiffened fabric by a semi rigid frame. The suitcase (1) object of the invention is composed of a face (12) which slides in the medium of two blades (16) of curved shape at the low end and can also roll by means of rollers (9) / Io 7

The bag is held upright by means of a heel (5) placed at the base of the front face (12). The bag is pulled on its wheels by hand by means of the handle (10) or by the shoulder by means of a flexible strap (4) connected to the bag on the rear face (11). The handle (10) combines the straps (15) from the ball joints (2) which are fixed to the bag by means of a rod (14) rigid and retractable. Is shown in Figure 4 of the board 1/2 the control device of the ratchet (17) non-return. This pawl (17) is fixed by means of a central hinge placed between the larvae (16) of the sliding face (12) of the bag (1). It is manually controlled at the handle (10) by means of a rope (18) connecting the latch (17) to the handle (10) of the bag (1). The ease of control is achieved by means of a metal or plastic ring placed within reach of the handle (10).

It is shown in Figure 5 of the board 2/2 the use of the all terrain bag (1) to cross the stairs. The user (8) tows the bag (1) by the handle (10) connecting the bag (1) by means of a strap (15) to the ball joints (2) attached to said bag. This one slides on the steps of the staircase by means of the blades (16) curved at the end and fixed on the face (12) of the all-terrain suitcase. In case of need the suitcase is stopped on a step of staircase by means of a latch (17) controlled by the rope (18). At) The off-road suitcase can be hoisted by means of a flexible strap (4) enclosing the user's shoulder (8), thus freeing his hands; those. they can then, if necessary, control the latch (17) by means of the rope (18). There is shown in Figures 6 and 7 of the board 2/2 a variant of the all-terrain suitcase with a seat (19) integral with said bag. In this variant embodiment, the off-road case (1) is provided with a means of displacement composed of rollers (9) and blades (16) curved at their ends fixed on the face (12) of the bag in order to cross the steps. staircase possibly present. The feet (20) are released by unclamping the flanges (23) to release the top of the seat (19). This seat (19) is retracted by means of the slide (27) to obtain a base of the feet (20) on the floor. The legs of the seat (19) are consolidated by means of the ropes (21) connecting the feet (20) at the level of the bag (1). The seat (19) is retracted by means of the slide (27) which allows said seat (19) to rise to penetrate through the slot (26) located at the top of the all-terrain suitcase. When one wants to use the seat (19), it is extracted from the slot (26), the feet (20) released from the flanges (23), rest on the ground. This adaptation is particularly adapted to its use on golf courses.
