Abstract

The removable fixing system comprises a one piece metallic housing (1) having anchoring elements (12,14) with three flexible arms (11,13) arranged in opposition, one (11) against the other (13) so as to form a zigzag lock. The suspension bar(2) has a clip zone, whose profile is complementary to the zigzag zone formed by the flexible arms (11,13) of the housing, as well as a central flexible tongue (21) which permits the suspension of the light fitting grill in a lower position with earth continuity.

Description

LUMINAIRE GRID FIXING SYSTEM
WITH CONTINUITY OF MASS
The subject of the present invention is a system for fixing a light grid with continuity of mass.

The existing systems at present fall mainly into two categories.

The first relates to a hook hook made of metal wire, shaped like a "V" whose top is truncated and provided with a shoulder, so that it can be hung on the wing of the perforated box accordingly, each of which legs extend by wings directed outwards by folding to 90 ".

The free ends of this clip are fixed on two parallel perforated uprights of the light grid by pinching the legs and passing the wings through the perforations, the tightening being done by elastic memory.

The fixing is done by pushing the grid towards the box, until the two perforated parallel uprights come behind the shoulders of the tabs of the wire clip and these return to their initial position, thus blocking the grid on the box.

This system has the advantage of being inexpensive, however it does not achieve mass continuity between the box and the grid when the latter is in the low position.

The second relates to a more elaborate system comprising a locking box which can be clipped onto the box intended to receive and block a retaining tab, itself crimped pivotally on a clip with spikes in the shape of a "U".

This system composed of three relatively massive elements, two of which must be crimped one on the other in recovery presents the major disadvantage of having a very high manufacturing cost.

Furthermore, mounting the U-shaped clip on the grid of the luminaire requires an additional operation.

The object of the present invention is to overcome the drawbacks of known systems by proposing a simple and economical system, practical to assemble and disassemble, keeping the mass continuity in the low position.

The housing, according to the invention, is made in one piece from a steel strip, by cutting and folding.

 I1 consists of a blank b from which are folded two uprights parallel to 90c, and at the lower end of which is cut a bent-down arm, and the end of which is folded up + 90 "upwards, while at the upper end the uprights continue with a new folding at 90 "constituting bearing surfaces, parallel to the blank.

These bearing surfaces each extend outside the housing on the one hand by a sickle-shaped hook whose end ends in a fixing spigot and on the other hand by a ramp-shaped arm folded in direction of the housing blank and the end of which is bent 90 "down.

These three arms arranged in 1 to 2 opposition constitute a locking baffle for the suspension bar.

This in fact comprises a latching zone whose profile is complementary to the baffle-shaped zone generated by the three elastic arms of the housing.

This ion suspension bar also has a hooking hook at its lower part, as well as a central elastic tongue having shoulders.

According to the invention, the system for fixing the light grid to the light box is made up of two elements: a locking box and a suspension bar.

The housing (1) according to Figures 1 to 3 is made in one piece from a steel strip by folding and cutting.

 It consists of a blank (10) from which two parallel uprights (10 ') are folded.

At their lower end, these uprights (10 ') end with tenons (12).

In the lower half of the blank (10) is cut an elastic arm (11) bent downwards and whose end (11 ') is again folded 90 "upwards, forming a bend (11").

At their upper end, the uprights (10 ') are folded 90 "towards each other, constituting a bearing surface (10") parallel to the blank (10).

These bearing surfaces each continue outside the housing (1) by a bent tab (14) in the form of a sickle, the end of which ends in a fixing spigot (14 ') provided with non-return lugs. (14 "), and inside the housing (1) by a ramp-shaped arm (13) folded upwards and whose end (13 ') is again folded 90" downwards, forming an elbow (13 ").

These three arms (11) (13) arranged in opposition to one for two, constitute a locking baffle for the suspension bar (2).

The suspension bar (2) according to Figures 4 and 5 is produced by folding and cutting from a thin stainless steel strip.

Its width is slightly less than the distance separating the two uprights (10 ') from the housing (1).

The lower part of this bar (2) is cut in the form of a hook (23).

The central part of the bar (2) is shaped so as to obtain a latching zone having a bent part (24) obtained by three folds (25) - (26) and (27).

The profile of this zone is complementary to the chicane-shaped zone generated by the three elastic arms (11) (13) of the housing (1)
The upper part of the bar (2) is provided with a central elastic tongue (21) having two shoulders (22).

This tongue is folded outward in the opposite direction to that of the elbow (24), at its base (28) and has a second fold at the shoulders (22).

Figure 6 shows the placement of the housing (1) on the light box (3).

The tenons (12) are placed in the apertures (310) of the punching (31) whose shape and shoulder are specified in FIG. 9.

The box is then pushed in rocker towards the wall of the box which is provided with a second punching of rectangular shape (not shown) through which are forced the spoilers of fixing (14 ') of the bent legs (14).

The fixing is carried out thanks to the non-return lugs (14 ") of the spoilers (14 ').

Figure 6 also shows the attachment made between the luminaire grid (4) - reflector (5) and the suspension bar (2), the hook (23) thereof being simply passed through the perforation (41) provided for this purpose on the grid of the luminaire (4).

The light grid (4) is locked on the box (3) by inserting the free end of the suspension bar (2) into the housing (1) through the punching (31) of the box (3) , following the direction of arrow F and push the assembly upwards.

Figures 7 and 8 show the assembly in the locked position.

The suspension bar (2) is locked at its snap-in zone in the baffle formed by the elastic arms (11) (13) of the housing (1), the tongue (21) coming into elastic support on the bent tabs (14) and pushing the suspension bar against the elbow (11 ') of the arm (11) which comes to bear against the fold (27) of the bar (2).

Figure 10 shows the light grid (4) suspended from the box (3) in the low position.

To separate the grid, it suffices to exert a downward force, so as to release the suspension bar from the baffle generated by the three elastic arms (11) (13).

The elastic tongue (21) passes into the part (311) of the punching punch (31).

By cons, the shoulders (22) abut against the edges (312) -now the grid (4) suspended.

In this position, mass continuity is ensured, the upper end of the bar (2) being in elastic pressure on the elbow (11 ") of the arm (11) and the edges (22) of the elastic tongue in abutment against the edges (312) of the punching (31).

This possibility of a low position is particularly advantageous in the event of intervention, either assembly or maintenance.

During assembly, the boxes are generally equipped with four boxes - two on each side.

The pre-assembly of the grid in the low position is easily done by simply clipping the tab (21) of the suspension bar through the punching (31), according to the position of FIG. 10.

The whole is then pushed upwards to carry out the locking in the high position.

For maintenance, simply put the grid in the low position, then push the tab (21) in the direction of the arrow F2 and separate the grid from one side.

This will tip over to the opposite side where it will remain suspended, making the interior of the box accessible.
