Abstract

The invention relates to a modular furniture assembly for bathrooms and washing blocks in particular, of the sort that comprises a wash basin (4) or equivalent and a plurality of accessories, furniture and fittings, characterised in that it consists chiefly of a disconnectable supporting panel (1) capable of supporting all the accessories, furniture and fittings and also in that it is designed to be delivered in ready-to-assemble form. The supporting panel preferably comprises two adjustable feet and a service hole for the plumbing and sheaths and all the various fasteners necessary for supporting the furniture, accessories and fittings required by the customer.

  The invention relates to a set of modular furniture for

  bathrooms, sanitary blocks or other.

  The object of the invention is to propose a set of furniture for washbasins of an entirely new design and which responds to an unsolved problem currently on the market, namely to build a set with washbasin and its accessories that can be 'on the one hand deliver to the customer in ready-to-assemble, on the other hand assemble and install easily and finally disassemble as easily without leaving any damage in the room. In accordance with the invention, the problem has been solved by means of a set of modular furniture, in particular for bathrooms, sanitary blocks, of the type comprising a washbasin or equivalent and a plurality of accessories, furniture and equipment, characterized by '' on the one hand in that it mainly consists of a removable support panel capable of supporting all accessories, furniture and equipment, and on the other hand in that it is designed to be delivered on loan - to rise. Preferably, the support panel has two adjustable feet and a technical opening for the passage of conduits and sheaths and all the fixing elements necessary to receive the

  furniture, accessories and equipment requested by the client.

embodiment.

  We will first refer to Figures 1 to 3 which show a

  first non-limiting exemplary embodiment of the invention.

  The modular assembly mainly consists of a

  vertical support panel (1) in the form of a panel mounted on legs (3).

  It has a technical opening (2) for the passage of ducts and pipes and it is designed to be able to support a basin (4) and all the accessories or toilet equipment that can accompany a sink 2 - or a hand basin such as shelves ( 5), mirror (6), towel holder (7),

shelves (8), lighting (9).

  The modular assembly is designed to be compact and delivered ready-to-assemble to the customer who can install it himself without difficulty anywhere. To this end, all the fixing means necessary to assemble the accessories are provided on the support panel (1), for example

  example of the holes (10) of the strips (11).

  The opening (2) is not limited to triangular, its surface must be sufficient to allow the passage without difficulty of the pipes (12) and sheaths (13). It is not compulsory to foresee the water and electricity arrivals by the opening (2), an arrival

  lateral from the front is possible but of course less aesthetic.

  The feet (3) are for example two in number and

  preferably adjustable in height for level corrections.

  There is also provided a fixing device in the upper part of the support (1) for fixing for example to the ceiling, to a wall,

a beam, etc ...

  The support (1) can be coated with a splash-proof protective layer, a tile or the like, especially in the

part surrounding the basin (4).

  Figures 4 to 6 illustrate one of the many possible variants. The modular assembly is delivered in a ready-to-assemble system and

  includes all the holes (10) for this purpose.

  Note that various pieces of furniture (14,15) such as doors and hinges are mounted directly on the support (1)

  allowing an economy of the bottom panels of furniture.

  Figures 7 and 8 illustrate another possible variant in which the vanity unit (14) is embedded in a housing (16)

of the support (1).

  The advantages of the modular assembly according to the invention are numerous. It allows in particular: - easy installation, even against non-load-bearing partitions, - the elimination of wall drilling operations which often require appropriate equipment and can lead to damage, a

  - easy disassembly without damage in view for example of a

  replacement, a change of aesthetic, a move.

  - a large combination of elements or accessories, which makes it possible to adapt to the client's needs and / or the aesthetics of the surrounding premises. The invention can be applied in bathrooms but also in toilets for private or collective use, sanitary blocks

  of communities for example campsites, dormitories, etc ...

Claims (6)

  1. Set of modular furniture, in particular for bathrooms   baths, sanitary blocks, of the type comprising a washbasin (4) or equivalent and a plurality of accessories, furniture and equipment, characterized on the one hand in that it mainly consists of a support panel (1 ) removable and able to support all accessories, furniture and equipment and secondly in that it is designed   to be delivered ready-to-assemble.   2. Assembly according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the support panel (1) is mounted on two feet (3) adjustable in height.   3. Assembly according to one of the preceding claims   characterized in that it further comprises a technical opening (2)   for the passage of pipes (12) and sheaths (13).   4. Assembly according to one of the preceding claims   characterized in that the support panel includes all the fixing elements (10,11) for fixing the furniture, equipment, accessories with which it comes.   5. Assembly according to one of the preceding claims   characterized in that the support panel further comprises a housing   (16) for fitting a piece of furniture (14).   6. Assembly according to one of the preceding claims   characterized in that the furniture with which it is delivered consists of elements directly fixed to the support panel in the absence of furniture background panel.
