Abstract

The toilet seat comprises a lid (1), a toilet rim (2) and a rear part (3). The rim is provided on its internal face with a joint to ensure sealing between the toilet bowl and the rim. The joint is open at the front allowing the entry of air and in the rear to let this air accompanied by odors to leave. The rear part contains an aspirator supplied by a low voltage current and activated by a switch under the rim. The switch is activated manually or automatically by the weight of a user. The aspirator rejects air through an opening (O) either in the rear part if the air has already been cleared of odors by a filter or to the outside through a pipe.
