Abstract

The invention relates to a device permitting removal of dental plaque as far as the third molars and under prosthetic bridges. It consists of a handle 1, whose rounded-profile head 2 supports a combination of tufts implanted obliquely towards the end opposite the handle 3 and implanted perpendicularly to the support 4. The end of the brush head 2 supports one or more tufts implanted obliquely 5. The end of the bristles of these tufts 5 thus projects beyond the plane perpendicular to the brush passing via the end of the head 2. The device according to the invention is intended particularly for improving and facilitating dental hygiene.

Description

The object of the invention relates to a brush device
teeth with natural profile.

It is intended to allow the elimination of the tray plate
fits on the dental surfaces up to the third molars
and under prosthetic bridges.

In known devices, there was a big name
bre of toothbrush head profiles but these only allowed
not have easy access to the third molars because of their
anatomical environment.

The device according to the invention eliminates this drawback
and makes it possible to clean the faces of the third molars accessible to the
toothbrush without any discomfort in relation to the anatomy of this region.

I1 is characterized by the combination of rows of tufts
bristles oblique to the end of the support and tuft
fes of bristles implanted perpendicular to the support. D1en's profile
appears to be characterized in that the free end of the implanted tufts
oblique position at the end of the support exceeds the plane of
the end of the support.

limiting, of one of the embodiments of the subject of the invention.

FIG. 6 schematically represents the application of the
device for cleaning the dental plaque of the third
molars.

The brush has a handle (1) with a profile head
rounded (2) supports a combination of oblique tufts
towards the end opposite to the handle (3) and perpendicular to its location
to the support (4).

The end of the brush head supports one or more
tufts with oblique implantation (5). The tips of the hairs of these tufts
thus exceeds the plane perpendicular to the passing brush
by the end of the head.

The user will thus be able to access: - the vestibular faces of the lower third molars (6) and
the upper end of the brush head (2) does not come
abut against the rising branch of the mandible (7), - the lingual faces of the lower third molars (8) and
without the end of the brush head (2) coming
in contact with the veil of the palate or the lingual mucosa (9)
look of these teeth, - the grinding faces of the third molars (10) with an opening
reduced jaws, - under prosthetic bridges.

 According to one embodiment, FIG. 5, the thickness of the head (11) supporting the oblique tufts (3) is greater than the thickness of the head (12) supporting the perpendicular tufts (4) to obtain an identical length of bristles for the 'all tufts.

 According to the performance variant, FIG. 3.4, the end of the head (2) has a curvature (13) extended by the implantation of one or more tufts of bristles (5).

 However, the shapes, dimensions and arrangements of the various elements may vary within the limit of the equivalents as, moreover, the materials used for their manufacture without changing the general conception of the invention which has just been described.

Claims (3)

 1) Toothbrush device with anatomical profile intended to allow 'elimination of the bacterial place from the dental faces up to the third molars and under the prosthetic bridges characterized in that the brush comprises a handle (1) whose head with rounded profile (2 ) supports a combination of tufts with oblique implantation towards the end opposite to the handle (3) and tufts with implantation perpendicular to the support (4). The end of the brush head supports one or more oblique tufts (5). The ends of the bristles of these tufts (5) thus exceed the plane perpendicular to the brush passing through the end of the head (2).  2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the thickness of the head (11) supporting the oblique tufts (3) is greater than the thickness of the head (12) supporting the perpendicular tufts (4).  3) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in an alternative embodiment in that the end of the head (2) has a curvature (13) extended by the implantation of one or several tufts of hair.
