Abstract

The invention relates to flaps for letterboxes which close automatically using only the mass of the flap and the position of its axis as moving means. It is indeed noted that current flaps, even sturdy ones, are still vandalised when they are left open. The tamperproof name-holder comprises a support integral with the flap 13 and 14, a complete stop in the bottom part 15 and 16, a reduced stop at the top part 17 and 18, a translucent material of the polycarbonate type or the like 11 and 12 which, when it is installed, is retained on five of its faces, thus making it very strong while keeping the possibility of easily interchanging the label. These devices are particularly intended for equipping all models of letterboxes. The field of application of the name-holder can be extended to other fields of activity : road plates and plates for telephone intercoms for example.

DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to the development of boot doors with letters that are difficult to vandalize, with automatic closure and tamper-evident name tags.

 The letter boots are traditionally equipped with doors whose construction is such that the user must obligatorily carry out an operation to ensure the closing, and are equipped with name tags which are until now quite easy to deteriorate.

 However, it turns out that the letter boots whose doors have remained open attract attention, detract from the aesthetics and are more easily vandalizable due to the ease which is offered to apply pressure, twisting movements, d tearing, lever arm, etc ...

 The methods according to the invention make it possible to remedy these drawbacks by using only the mass of the door as a means of movement.

 FIG. 1 represents the first method according to the invention: the door is articulated on a horizontal axis situated in the upper part (1); the door is opened from the bottom up by rotation around the axis (2) the door is fitted with a lock preferably located at the bottom, fitted with a spring-loaded bolt, magnetic, or using another compressible material (3); the mass of the door (which can be constructed of any material as long as it provides sufficient resistance) is such that the simple fact of releasing it causes it to fall and automatically engages the bolt of the lock on its keeper (4).

 FIG. 2 represents the second method according to the invention: the door is articulated on a vertical axis integral with the door and inclined in projection (5 and 6); it is fitted with a lock fitted with an automatic recall bolt (7); the mass of the door (which can be made of any material as long as it provides sufficient resistance) and the inclination of its axis are such that the simple act of releasing the door when it is in position open it rotates on its axis and automatically engages the lock pin on its keeper (8).

 The tamper-evident nameplate, shown in Figures 1 and 2 consists of a light operated in the door at any location and of variable size according to the desired size (9 and 10), of a translucent polycarbonate type Makrolonf Plexiglasa or similar (11 and 12), of a support integral with the U-shaped door (13 and 14) comprising a complete stop in the lower part (15 and 16), a reduced stop in the upper part (17 and 18) and a any light (19 and 20).

The coi label carrying the coordinates of the user (21 and 22) and the poly carbonate (11 and 12) are introduced by the upper part of the support, by the interior face of the door in the open position, so that the we get from the outside to the inside

 The shouldered polycarbonate offers considerable impact resistance.

 In addition, any action from the outside automatically pushes the polycarbonate against the support and it is thus blocked on all four sides and cannot be removed.

 The label is changed by the user, the door being in the open position, by inserting the finger in the light (19 and 20) and by pressing lightly outwards and from bottom to top, which thus allows to drag the label by the free space located between the interior face of the door and the stop (17 and 18).

 It is also possible to keep the polycarbonate and the label in constant contact against the support by inserting a compressible element between the door and the polycarbonate of the spring type for example (23 and 24).

REVEECBTILiS i) The device of the invention relates to letterbox doors that are difficult to vandalize with automatic closing and tamper-evident name tags, characterized by the use of the mass of the door associated with the position of its axis of rotation (1 and 5 ) to obtain the force necessary for its self-displacement, in order to bring it back to the closed position and engage the bolt of the lock (3) on its keeper (4). 2) Device according to claim 1 characterized by the use of an automatic return lock bolt (3), whether spring, magnetic or uses another compressible material. 3) Device according to any one of the preceding claims characterized by the use of space differences between three walls (9 13 - 17 and 10 - 14 - 18) for the introduction, blocking and removal of the label and its translucent protection. 4) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a spring or a compressible material (23 and 24) tends to push back the label and its translucent protection against the bottom of the support, in order to ensure its blocking. .
