On sait que dans leur construction classique, les porte-balais associes aux moteurs et autres machines électriques tournantes sont constitués par l'assemblage de deux pièces principales, à savoir un corps fixe en forme de gaine apte à recevoir ln balai destiné à être appliqué contre le collecteur tournant de la machine envisagée, et un organe mobile de pression porté par le corps précité et agencé pour prendre élastiquement appui contre l'extremite extérieure du balai précité.
