Abstract

The invention relates to a device for binding an unspecified number of pages or documents by means of a movable multi-purpose clamp fitted over a right-angle sectioned rail 6 and 7. The shape of the clamp is such that the opening 1 can be passed over part 6 of the rail and the hooks 3 and angles 4 to be slid under part 7. The locking action exerts great pressure on the foot 2 which presses against the stack of pages. This system can accommodate a cover or sleeve in company with the pages, thus protected, in the right angle of the rail. It is sufficient to make a cut-out without ejection or a notch to allow positioning of the clamp which binds the assembly.

Description

 The present invention relates to a binding system which uses a movable metal staple tightening on a profile forming a right angle (6) and (7).

 In this right angle is housed an indefinite number of sheets due to the versatility of the clip hinging around this angle as a fulcrum and gripping by pressure said sheets, a relative pressure depending on the metal used.

 This system does not require any apparatus or perforation for its operation other than by means of the thumb and forefinger resting on the angles (4) sufficiently close together for this purpose.

Whatever the number of sheets or staples, the efficiency of said system is distinguished from traditional binders according to what one wants to obtain or the use that one wants to make of it.

 According to a preferred embodiment, the clip is made of a metal wire, such as a piano cord, and arranged so as to have an opening (I) located between the part (2) and the hooks (3) then that the wire twisted at an acute angle (4 forms two obtuse angles (5).

 The shape preference adopted makes it possible to use the opening (, to cover the profile and slide the hooks (3) at the intersection of the right angle of said profile.
