Abstract
The subject of the invention relates to a continuous heart beat measurement device. It consists of the miniaturised combination of a beat sensor 1, a microprocessor 3, a ceramic transducer, a display for representative data, a system 13 for remote control, for alarm transmission, an input circuit for the keyboard or the buttons for recording the parameters, with a power generator such as a lithium battery 9 or of a photovoltaic cell, the whole unit being completed by a reader system with a printer 12 displaying the indications picked up. It is intended for non-stop sensing of a heart beat period so as to discriminate between the pulses which are irregular or excessively exaggerated or delayed with respect to what is normal, in order to record them for their subsequent analysis or to trigger a warning signal.
