Abstract

The electrostatic fibre coating process is for profiles which may be clamped on a revolving process path so that all coating surfaces lie flat in an insertion frame. They pass through a sequence of preheat (14) station, spray cubicle (15), conditioner (20) cubicle with coater (21) and heat (23) and drying (24) sectors and so to a release station directly preceding the clamping station. The process path may consist of a turntable (1) rotating on rollers (6) and fitted with insertion frames (10) and process stations as described.
