Abstract

The pincers, for gripping, pinching or compressing objects, is formed with two arms (5), assembled together by a pivot bolt (6) to create a linkage which is held together under tension, by the spring (3). The spring is enclosed in a sleeve (4) to limit the action of the spring and to prevent the arms closing on the fingers or the hand. At the other end of the arms, are fitted ball joints (10), fluted in order to allow different positions to be used to hold the objects between the two gripping plates (11). DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a tool used to pinch or block one or more objects simultaneously, in particular in the field of masonry.

For example, the tightening of three formwork boards allowing the pouring of a concrete lintel is traditionally carried out using clamps blocked by means of hammer or mass, reused material for the release of these same clamps -joints which may cause a shaking of the lintel during formwork, creating microcracks or even cracks by this formwork process if the concrete is not really hardened.

The apparatus according to the invention overcomes the drawbacks mentioned above. According to a first characteristic, it indeed comprises two articulated arms maintained in tension by a spring of 0.01 to 5 kg of pressure (or even more depending on the need for use) making it possible to gently maintain the formwork boards or rules in their provisional or final positions after adjustment and positioning by means of a level, then blocking the articulation of the arms by means of a hook reducing the spacing of the links in a chain and the tightening of a screw by means of a lever, completing the action of the spring and carrying out the action of a vice. According to variants not illustrated, the two washers (11) can receive different dies (13) and (14) capable of pinching or blocking objects of different shapes.

The apparatus according to the invention is particularly intended for work requiring blocking or tightening carried out by masons, plumbers, plasterers, carpenters, heating engineers, watchmakers, framers, private DIY enthusiasts, etc., in their activities.
