Abstract

The fixing plate fixes a guide channel to the door of a switching cabinet or junction box. The fixing plate has a shallow step and contains a small hole (8) near one end and a larger hole (1) near the other end. The large hole is threaded and can accommodate a retaining screw. The end of the screw does not touch the door. The arrangement obviates the need for adhesive or double-sided adhesive tape. No extra hole is needed in the door. The plate is made of bi-chromated steel and form a bayonet mount for the guide channel.
