Abstract

Vaults, for burials, are prefabricated as hollow generally box-shaped structures by extrusion blow moulding of a synthetic material pref. high density polyethylene. Pref. the mouldings incorporate an opening for top or side access. Pref. the moulding walls feature horizontal grooves to accommodate metallic reinforcement straps and vertical channels to accommodate tubular stiffeners pref. made of PVC. Strong enough to withstand soil pressure and conventional monuments, lighter and more waterproof than conventional masonry or concrete vaults, cheaper than the corresp. glass fibre reinforced polyester resin structures for the same purpose.

La présente invention a pour objet titre de produit industriel nouveau un caveau monobloc préfabriqué du type se composant essentiellement d'un volume sensiblement parallélépipédique muni d'au moins une ouverture d'accès supérieure ou latérale. The subject of the present invention is a new industrial product, a one-piece prefabricated cellar of the type essentially consisting of a substantially parallelepiped volume having at least one upper or lateral access opening.
