Abstract

Ce système comprend un réservoir principal M monté sur le tracteur et alimentant en air comprimé un conduit N sous la commande d'une pédale de frein T. Le conduit N est relié à un conduit N2 de la remorque qui aboutit à une vanne sélectrice E. Un conduit S, S1 et S2 relie un réservoir auxiliaire B à une vanne de commande C manoeuvrée par un détecteur d'obstacle D monté à l'arrière du véhicule Lorsque la vanne C est ouverte par la barre D, la pression du réservoir B est appliquée à la vanne relais F qui applique la pression d'air d'un réservoir K aux chambres de frein des roues G, H, I et J du véhicule et actionne donc les freins. Applications notamment aux véhicules composés d'un tracteur et d'une remorque, d'un tracteur avec semi-remorque et aux simples véhicules.
