Abstract
A variable speed motor drives a conveyor screw to carry fruit from a hopper through a stainless steel sleeve. Ice cream is injected into the sleeve via a stainless steel branch pipe so that an homogeneous mixt. of fruit and ice cream is discharged at the end of the sleeve into a flexible dispensing tube. Whole soft fruits such as strawberries, grapes and bilberries, as well as peanuts etc., can be incorporated into ice cream mixt. without being crushed or broken.
