Abstract

The power distribution system has a U-shaped duct (2) containing the supply wires and U-shaped covers (3) that snap into the duct. The socket (10) (or other electrical fitting) also snaps into the duct. The duct has overhangs along its edges behind which hooks along the edges of the sides of the covers and the socket engage. The terminals (17, 18) on the socket for the wires are located so that when the socket is fitted into the duct they lie in the duct below the level of the covers.
