Abstract
Traitement du plomb. Pour isoler le plomb à partir d'une matière contenant du sulfure de plomb dans lequel cette matière est d'abord soumise à lixiviation dans le lessiveur, dans une solution de chlorure à laquelle on a ajouté, en tant qu'agent oxydant, du chlorure ferrique, puis soumise ensuite à un traitement par électrolyse. La solution riche en chlorure de plomb 2 et contenant du chlorure ferreux qui provient du lessiveur 1, au stade de lixiviation, est envoyée dans une cellule d'électrolyse 4 contenant au moins une anode insoluble 7 et au moins une cathode 8 et dans laquelle le plomb se dépose à la cathode, l'électrolyte 9, contenant des ions ferriques à la suite d'une ré-oxydation à l'anode, étant recyclé dans le lessiveur. Le procédé selon l'invention permet de travailler avec des cellules d'électrolyse non compartimentées.
