Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation de résines de densité élevée par bromation de particules de copolymères vinylaromatiques réticulés de type gel ou de type macroporeux ioniques ou non ioniques, caractérisé en ce que l'on effectue une bromation des particules de copolymères vinylaromatiques réticulés préalablement gonflées dans un solvant, à l'aide du brome ou d'un agent libérant du brome en présence d'un agent oxydant.
