Abstract
Plaster based material in liquid form is sprayed onto vertical mesh panels to construct filled (22) cavity walls suitable for buildings. Joists with continuous undulating bar webs may be used to form the substructure. Vertical joists (2) with the web in the transverse vertical plane support horizontal joists (3) of which the webs align horizontally. Initially, a layer of mesh (16) is fixed to the interior face, being complete with a perforated cardboard membrane (17). Plaster is the applied externally (19) followed by the application of internal finishing plaster (21). The external mesh (24, 25) which may be of the expanded metal type incorporating cardboard membrane (26), is then fixed after the placement of preformed insulating slabs (22).
