Abstract

The combustion electrode is in the form of an open ring and gives arcing protection. The electrode (4) has a brace (3) which supports at its free end an electrode head situated between the free ends of the protection ring. The electrode head overlaps the ends of the ring. At the end of the brace opposite to the electrode head is a reinforcement which has a channel extending towards the end of the brace situated in the electrode head. This channel is connected to a transverse unit which ends in one of two lateral surfaces of the electrode head situated between the free ends of the protection ring.
