Abstract

The protective cover is for wiring connections to a printed circuit board (PCB) which may be soldered or wire wrapped. The cover (1) is approx. rectangular in plan and tapered away from the PCB and has shallow side walls. Two 'L' shaped feet secure it to the PCB via slots in its structure and a series of holes (2) allows access for test probes to the terminals. All wiring is brought out together centrally (5). The wires can immediately be transmitted into a special connector (19) which is held in position by two slotted and folded wings (13) detachable from the cover.
