Abstract

Interior jointing compsn. used in building of the type comprising plaster, at least one set retarder, sodium hexametaphosphalt, sodium carbonate, at least one atomised synthetic resin and a filler, also contain mannitol and guar gum, opt. together with a fungicide and/or a bactericide. Specifically the amount of mannitol added is about 0.6% and the guar gum about 0.2 wt. % of the dry mix. Used as filler-adhesive between stones, concrete slabs bricks and other building materials. The Mannitol combines with binders-fillers, EaCO3 and CaSO4 in the form of flexible adluscent and expansive micro-crystals. The compsn. does not require additive to be added on site or at the point of use or several successive applications of material as in prior art. The joint life is adequate.
