Abstract
L'invention concerne les polyimides, et plus particulièrement de nouvelles mousses polyimides qui sont rigides, boursouflées et à structure résistante. Les mousses polyimides selon l'invention sont issues de mélanges de diamines aromatiques et d'esters partiels d'acide benzophénonetétracarboxylique. Les précurseurs sont convertis en mousses polyimides par chauffage et les mousses sont ensuite comprimées, ce qui donne des matériaux denses, rigides, boursouflés, à structure résistante. Mousses applicables comme barrière anti-feu.The invention relates to polyimides, and more particularly to novel polyimide foams which are rigid, blistered and structurally strong. The polyimide foams according to the invention are obtained from mixtures of aromatic diamines and partial esters of benzophenonetetracarboxylic acid. The precursors are converted to polyimide foams by heating and the foams are then compressed, resulting in dense, rigid, blistered, structurally strong materials. Foams applicable as a fire barrier.
