Abstract

The portable shower unit is self contained, requiring electric and water supply line connections only. The unit can be lifted by crane or elevator, incorporating water heaters, a hot water tank, a shower bath and spray nozzles. Controls such as pressure discs or chains effect the emission of water through the shower rose or sprays, the water-supply system being designed to accept neutralising, decontaminating or rinsing additives. Water pressure may be safeguarded by standby gas bottles or pumps, protection against frost being afforded by thermo-static resistances. The unit may also be used in sanitary blocks on construction sites.
