Abstract
Ce procédé permet de produire de l'acier au silicium électromagnétique d'une perméabilité d'au moins 1870 (G/Oe) à 10 oersteds. Il comprend des opérations conventionnelles de préparation d'une charge, coulée, laminage à chaud et à froid, recristallisation, décarburation, application d'un revêtement de base d'oxyde réfractaire et recuit final de texturation. Selon l'invention, le chauffage de l'acier jusqu'à 704 à 843 degrés C pour la recristallisation s'effectue à une vitesse d'au moins 833 degrés C et de préférence à une vitesse d'au moins 1 100 degrés C. L'acier contient de préférence au moins 0,008 % de bore comme inhibiteur.
