Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de préparation d'homopolymères d'éthylène et de copolymères éthylène-oléfines en C3 -C6 . Suivant le procédé revendiqué on effectue la polymérisation de l'éthylène et sa copolymérisation avec les oléfines susdites au sein d'un solvant hydrocarboné en présence d'un catalyseur composé d'un constituant de type alcoylaluminium, de tétrachlorure de titane et d'un dérive alcoxy de titane. Le constituant de type alcoylaluminium est un mélange d'hydrure de dialcoylaluminium répondant à la formule A1R2 H et de trialcoylaluminium répondant à la formule A1R3 , R étant C2 H5 , C3 H7 , iso-C 4 H9 , pris dans des rapports molaires de 1,5 : 1 à 6 : 1. Les polymères obtenus trouvent des applications dans l'industrie électrochimique, dans les industries mécaniques, en agriculture, en médecine. Les copolymères sont utilisés dans la fabrication de tubes, de câbles, de films, de feuilles extrudées, d'ouvrages moulés par soufflage.
