Abstract

The wood splitter is moved and worked by a tractor from a power take off. The chassis is formed of beams and the splitter includes a double acting ram, with a chromed rod. The pump used has six pistons and gives a service pressure of 350 bars. The pump is fitted in a welded sheet tank. The splitter can handle logs 1050 mm long and can be used on the ground or in an opening excavated to simplify feeding.
