Abstract

The corrugated anodised aluminium strip can be used as a basis for a false ceiling or a reflector for high output lighting. It is up to 1.2mm thick, preferably between 0.3 and 0.8mm. The strip is of uniform thickness with smooth sections at regular intervals. The strip is corrugated by passing a smooth sheet between two co-operating rollers. A false ceiling is made up of two arrays of parallel strips, the smooth sections of which are slotted and used to interlock the arrays together at right angles to one another.
