Abstract

The irrigation outlet comprises a branch pipe (10) connected into the water supply pipe (1). This branch pipe has an outlet pipe (2) on it and a cross piece (40) welded across and inside the bore of the outlet pipe. A rod (5) fixed to the cross piece extends axially outside the pipe outlet. An inner pipe (7) is fitted to the outlet pipe by a flexible bush (70). The water contacts a plate (6) on the rod, the variation in reactive pressure causing the inner pipe to move and regulate the orifice area. The pressure plate is adjustable (61).
