Abstract

The sailing craft is provided with two floats (1, 2) in the form of oblong hulls, joined by a rigid deck (3) which normally is located above the water line. A sail (8) is attached along one edge to a mast (6) which with its foot (5) is so fixed into the deck that it can be freely orientated during handling of the sail. Each float has a longitudinal cutwater (4) below the water line, and it is possible for both floats and deck to be of one-piece construction from shaped synthetic material. The mast foot is fitted to the deck in such a manner that it can be rotated or tipped.
