Abstract

Il s'agit par exemple d'un coupleur hydraulique interposé entre un moteur à paroi de carter 11, et un réducteur à paroi de carter 12. Suivant l'invention, la portée cylindrique 22 que présente usuellement extérieurement le carter 13 d'un tel coupleur constitue par elle-même une piste de freinage avec laquelle coopère directement au moins un sabot de freinage 23, ledit sabot de freinage 23 étant soumis à des moyens de commande 36, 40 assujettis à un support fixe formé par exemple par des longrines 24 s'étendant d'une des parois de carter 11, 12 à l'autre. Application aux dispositifs d'accouplement dont une des parties menante ou menée doit être freinée.
