Abstract

La présente invention concerne la préparation d'oligomères à partir d'un ou plusieurs oxydes d'alcoylènes. Le procédé suivant l'invention consiste à faire réagir un oxyde d'alcoylène sur un polyol dans une zone réactionnelle à sections multiples. On introduit dans la première section de cette zone, de bas en haut, le monomère et le polyol contenant un catalyseur sous forme d'une solution d'alcoolate de métal alcalin dans ledit polyol d'une basicité de 1 à 20 % en poids calculée par rapport à KOH et contenant de 0,05 à 0,5 %, en poids d'eau, en conduisant la réaction d'interaction de manière que dans la capacité de la première section il y ait réaction des réactifs initiaux pris dans un rapport en moles de 1/1 à 5. Les polyéthers préparés sont utilisés à titre de matières premières de base pour la préparation de polyuréthannes d'usages variés, notamment de polyuréthannes mousses ainsi qu'à titre de constituants de fluides hydrauliques pour freins, de lubrifiants, de désémulsifiants et dérivés tensioactifs.
