Abstract

The stackable plastics cups are used in a dental surgery for holding antiseptic mouthwash. Each is frusto-conical with an indented cylindrical or annular portion the base which houses a tablet of soluble antiseptic material. When the cups are stacked the portion holding the tablet is sealed so that it is only in contact with the air in the cylinder. This protects the tablet from humidity in the air until it is required for use. The zone holding the tablet may be closed by a small cover for additional protection.
