Abstract
The system is used to control the heating and ventilation of a building. This is in accordance with a programme which depends on the age, weight, body temperature and other characteristics of the occupants. A central control unit is programmed to respond mathematically to information received from a temperature sensor; this indicates whether summer ventilating or winter heating programmes are used. Manual intervention is confined to setting the average weight and age of the occupants on an indicator. A time clock is provided and, in both cases, various thermostats and hygrometers are actuated to control the operations.
