Abstract
Each phase branch (sic) comprises a rigid conductor surrounded by a concentric, gas-proof tubular envelope on which the conductor is supported via insulators. The envelope has spaced, annular, expansion compensators for the take-up fo variations in length caused by changes of temp. The conductor is connected to terminals of a block transformer by means of extension bands. The end piece of the envelope of each phase branch nearest the block transformer has 2 spaced joints, pivotable to all sides and each made up of an expansion compensator. The conductor has a 3rd joint, at the height of the compensators, also adapted to swivel in all directions. The expansion compensators may be made of neoprene.
