Abstract

The combine harvester grain cleaner (40) has a pan in which are three vertically spaced sieves (92,94,96). The sieves are each divided into three sections, and these may pivot about shafts (116). The sides (118,120) of the pan are each formed of three curved parts (122,124), and the partitions between the sieve sections are formed by pairs of the side plates placed back to back. Inclined edges (132) on the sieve sections prevent grain loss, and an adjuster to regulate the tilting of the sieve sections is mounted at the front of the pan.
