Abstract
The connector connects the end of a bared branch wire to an insulated main wire, and consists of a flexible insulating sleeve with a large slotted hole (3) for the main wire (4) and a small slotted hole (5) for the branch wire (6). The end (8) of the branch wire loops around the end of the connector and through the main hole. In the main hole it passes over radial projections (12) that press it against a bared section (9) of the main wire. The bared section extends only inside the connector. Alternatively, the main hole may contain a spiked metal sleeve that connects branch and main wires.
