Abstract

The circulating pump for universal mounting has inlet and outlet branches and a diffuser chamber containing a motor driven impeller. The end of one of the branches (9) is connected to the pump body by a watertight telescopic assembly (6, 7, 8, 10, 11) which is adjustable. The assembly comprises a cylindrical portion (1) fixed to the pump body (3), over which a second cylindrical portion (8) slides. A seal (7) is fitted between them, also a locking device (10). A method of closure is made from two flap valves across the throat symmetrically disposed w.r.t. the telescopic section.
