Abstract

A two-part package for potted plants consists of upper and lower sections. The lower part (50) is of rectangular shape, and encloses the part (51). Two opposite sides have rounded slots cut in them and a fold line at the level of the ends of the slots. The protrusions so formed can be positioned inside the edge of the pot, holding the packaging in place. The other part has only three sides (32) and a top (34). It is folded round the lower part and held together and to the lower part by slots and tabs (42, 44, 46, 47, 48). A rounded handle (37) is formed in the top. The component parts can be supplied as flat sheets or the lower sections can be in the form of a flattened tube.
