Abstract

The drive-in wall plug fastener comprises an elongate body (10) of uniform cross-section and provided over at least the greater part of its length with indentations (11). The body is covered with a coating (12) of pliable material, eg nylon, filling the recesses but itself having a smooth exterior. In use the fastener is driven into a pre-drilled hole in which the coating has a tight fit. Pref. the body has a head (13) limiting the extent of insertion. The indentations may be constituted by a screw-thread so that the body can be removed by rotation of the head.
