Abstract

A stacking container for waste paper consists of a rigid rectangular bin of a suitable size to take the required papers. The centre of each face has a vertical slot from top to bottom. The top edges of the slots are strapped together by four straps (5, 15, 16, 177) to maintain the strength of the box. A ball of string is caried in a cradle outside the box. The base of the box has two slots crossing in the centre. A bar (21) can be pushed across under the stock of papers. The bar has the string attached to its fron end. When the bar is removed the string is pulled through. The bundle may be removed from the box which may be trolley mounted.
