Abstract

An electric lever switch for a road vehicle is reliable and can be easily fitted and connected. It is made out of a thermoplastic material which is used to construct a frame and two bosses. One of the bosses constitutes a spindle for the switch lever and the other boss is used as protection for fixed electric contacts and stops for the lever. The frame also has recesses to take connecting strips. The switch lever has two recesses for springs and moving contacts. The lever has a rotating movement as well as a rocking movement. The rocking movement is given by sloping sides of the lever.
